The signed renter undertakes he/she is liable for any debts, irregularities and damages for the signed vehicle.
Diamond car rental may withdraw any receivable from the hirer with the pre authorization amount from their credit card for any balances outstanding in relation to fines, payments and damages incurred during the rental of the vehicle mentioned.
A vehicle check out/check in needs to be carried out by a representative of Diamond and the hirer. If the hirer is not present at the time of the return for any reason and the vehicle check is not completed/signed b the hirer and there are any damages to the vehicle which has occurred during the rental period, then Diamond is entitled to deduct the amount from the pre authorization pertaining to the damage.
If the hirer is in an accident during the rental they will be liable for the excess as stipulated by the insurance policy, plus the loss of the rental for as long as the vehicle Is in the garage for repair.
The hirer will also be liable for the cost of damages caused by natural forces and non common faults.
If the hirer after an accident fails to provide a police report, then all costs involved in obtaining one will be under the cost of the hirer. If the police cannot provide us with the report due to the time constraints in obtaining one, then the damages amount will be borne by the hirer.
In case on non payment of the rental amount or fines and / or damages, Diamond has the legal authority to open a case against the hirer.
The hirer undertakes the responsibility not to drive the vehicle outside the UAE under any case the matter will be alerted to the authorities and the car will be reported as missing/stolen and therefore the hirer would be fully liable for any charges by the authorities.
Diamond will allow a daily KM allowance of 200 kms per day, 1000 kms per week and monthly 4000 kms. Any additional kms will be a charge of AED 25 per KM.
The renter must thoroughly check the vehicle for any damages or technical faults prior to their rental. Should any damages be found then they must be marked in the vehicle checkout report attached.
If the vehicle is being driven by someone else other than the person who is on the rental agreement, the hirer accepts full responsibility of any damages that my occur.
We allow a maximum 2 hour grace period from the time of the hire. If the vehicle is returned anytime after this, then the hirer will be liable to pay half day rental for the vehicle for up to 6 hours. If the vehicle is over 6 ours then a full daily rental amount will be payable.
All fines are subject to an administration charge of AED 100.
Salik is included in the car rental agreement.
Deposit of minimum AED 4000 – AED 6000 will be required upon renting the car, subject to the car he deposit amount will vary.
